Still in LA la Land i supposed..
just woke up
and I'm still tired from yesterday's activity..
Though it doesn't require much of physical power, more on mental.
It's draining me a little bit.
Yesterday's event was a brilliant one put together by a group of ppl to let us know more about the media, it's roles and also what they are all about.
Well I did attend one of those back in the Secondary school days.
Back then we are considered as the 'testers' since we are the first batch to learn and experience the life of journalism.
But the difference is that back then it was for the malay papers.. Yesterday it was to a more wider coverage.
Met new people. Interesting. Outspoken bunch of people.
I was really impressed with one on how she carried herself so well, her language and the way she relate to others-the community to her work.
I wish to be like her.
But I am aware that my weakness is more to my language,
So thus I hereby promise to improve myself to improve my language skills.
Kudos to her! =)
The speaker was great! I really do believe that I had saw him somewhere on TV doing some news report. But he looks much more younger on screen than real life if that it was really him. HAHA
His speech was pack, solid, inspirational and at first it seemed pretty chim since I'm not that familiar in his field. but after he pointed out the pionts and stuff, those things are really interesting aye?
Well, I came too early for yesterday's course. An hour early that is.....
So I have to settle down somewhere first to do something i supposed.
SO I sat at the nearest KFC outlet, ordered a drink.
The staff there are mostly made up of hearing impaired individuals.
I applaud them for their courageness to step into the world full of criticism and prejudice.
They did a wonderful job as what their job requires them to do;
and I happen to chance on someone I know-not personally just his face and his personality..
I believe that he stays around there I supposed. He appears the same. but there is something different about him, he smokes.
So now I'm thinking of new and innovative ways for my 'group' to be placed on national scale.
I have already note down some ideas, shall see if I have anymore of those.
OH ya yesterday I was this cute cat outside the MRT station. It's so chubby, cute, friendly and cute!
Now I have a task to do..
So I'll just end it here then.
